The NEC MultiSync LCD2090UXi might not appeal directly to the masses or to gamers or household users of the display monitor but it does well to impress both professionals and entrepreneurs alike.
Ingenious as it may sound, the NEC MultiSync LCD2090UXi rotate 90 degrees for viewing in the portrait mode and uses a gravitational sensor that instantly flicks the image to which where the monitor is tilted on. Also, another feature involves a built-in light sensor placed conventionally at the front bezel to sense light in the surrounding environment.
NEC uses AmbiBright technology to change the backlight of the monitor and match it with the current environmental lighting. So if the monitor detects a faint shadow in the room or the entire place is gloomy, it immediately adapts in contrast to its environment thus lighting the monitor more than the usual.
With dimensions of 13.4 inches in height, 17.3 in width, and 3.3 in depth without the stand, the NEC Corporation manufactured, LCD monitors might be an underdog in this race for the ultimate LCD screen but it sure gives other competitors a run for their money.
